Terms and conditions

 

1.      Orders and payment

All orders that are placed must be accompanied by the deposit slip of the full price of the specified product into the Computron Computers account.  This is to eliminate any false orders which may result in ageing stock.  Only cash, bank guaranteed cheques and electronic transfers will be accepted for payment. 

2.      Sales procedure

The client places an order online or per telephone.  Computron notifies the client of the final price.  The client deposits the funds into the Computron Computers bank account and faxes the deposit slip to (053) 831 3036.  Computron will then forward a receipt to the customer and order the product.  The ordering period depends on the payment, in the event of cash payment, or electronic transfers, the product will be available after successful payment is confirmed.

3.      Inspection and delivery

Computron Computers will receive the ordered products and our technicians will inspect the products, after which the client will be notified to collect his products.  Products is Computron Computers responsibility till goods are received by the client. 

4.      Warranty

Computer systems, hardware and printers sold by Computron carry a 12 month carry-in warranty.  Toshiba laptops carry a 2 year carry-in warranty (Product has to be returned to a service center and collected after repairs).  Components that has been damaged by the malfunction of components of other companies will not be replaced or repaired under warranty.  Computron computers will void the warranty immediately if a computer, under warranty, is taken to another company for repairs or upgrades.  Warranty will become invalid in the event of damage caused by over clocking or natural disasters e.g. lightning or power surges.  In the event of a malfunctioning product, give Computron a call immediately on  083 321 8707.  Handling / transportation fees will be charged on faulty computers, laptops, components, cameras and printers under warranty.  Weight of product will influence the handling fees.  Products will be returned to client when handling fees are paid in full.  Faulty products have to be returned to service centers situated in Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth and Bloemfontein for repairs and collected after repairs.

5.      Prices

Prices on products are subject to change without prior notification and may be influenced by the ZAR / USD exchange rate.

6.      Licensing

No computer will be loaded with a copied version of Microsoft Windows or other software.  Computron is not a manufacturer of computer products.  Computron is a retailer and a wholesaler.  Computron computers will not be held responsible for any loss or damage caused by natural disaster or misuse of sold products.
